Kudos on concept ~ looks FANTASTIC!
Also that railroads somehow bothered me in the first place (after I was done enoying the obvious), but as you name Steampunk in the title and include some other steampunk elements right from the beginning, it canceles out again into the right direction.
But still, that is one lovely pair of X-chromosomes standing in pose!
